TIP이란 무엇이며 왜 중요한가요?

교통 개선 프로그램(TIP) 은 오번-오펠리카 지역의 장기적인 교통 목표를 실질적인 사업으로 전환하는 프로그램입니다. TIP는 우리 지역의 장기 교통 계획(LRTP)에서 제시된 아이디어, 즉 향후 20~25년 동안 추진하고자 하는 사업들을 단기 사업 목록으로 정리하여 향후 4년 이내에 착수할 수 있도록 합니다.

TIP에는 도로와 교량 보수부터 보행 및 자전거 이용 안전 개선에 이르기까지 광범위한 개선 사항이 포함되어 있습니다.

교통투자계획(TIP)은 이러한 프로젝트에 대한 자금 조달 방식도 보여줍니다. 우리 지역의 교통 투자는 지방 자금과 연방 자금의 조합에 의존합니다.

현재 2024~2027년 TIP 프로젝트는 2045년 장기 계획(LRTP) 에서 가져온 것입니다.

TIP 프로젝트는 어떻게 선정되나요?

오번시, 오펠리카시, 리 카운티, 앨라배마주 교통부(ALDOT), 연방 고속도로 관리국(FHWA), 그리고 리-러셀 지방정부협의회(AOMPO 관리 담당 기관)는 TIP 협력 과정에 참여합니다. 참여 지방정부는 오번, 오펠리카, 리 카운티 엔지니어의 권고, 가용 자금, 그리고 다음 우선순위를 바탕으로 TIP 프로젝트를 선정합니다.

TIP Projects Are Proposed

Projects are selected from the corresponding period's Long Range Transportation Plan. Auburn, Opelika, and Lee County engineers agree on project priorities and ensure that projects are within budget.

TIP Projects Are Selected

Local governments submit the projects to the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT), where they are programmed into the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).

2024-2027 TIP Is Drafted

The TIP is drafted by LRCOG staff and put before the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Policy Board and Committees for review and approval.

Public Comment Period

The draft TIP is made available for review and comment by the public. Public input is documented and acted upon, if necessary.

The TIP is finalized and put before the MPO for adoption.

TIP Projects Are Implemented

TIP Projects Are Amended as Needed

If a highway-oriented project's scope or budget changes significantly, the MPO Board and supporting committees review and amend the project. This amendment process occurs at public MPO meetings.
