Countywide Recycling Interest survey
Countywide Recycling Interest survey
Skagit County Solid Waste is taking the first steps to explore the possibility of expanding curbside recycling service across unincorporated Skagit County. This survey is intended to gauge the interest of Skagit County residents in expanding curbside recycling service.
Curbside recycling is currently only available in unincorporated Skagit County WEST of Highway 9. The population density in this area makes the collection of recyclable materials economically feasible. However, increasing growth in the eastern portion of the County may make it possible to expand the service area. Drop-off recycling is available and free at the Skagit County Transfer and Recycling State, Clear Lake Compactor Site, and Sauk Transfer Station.
