Greenways Master Plan Update

Welcome to the Hillsborough County Greenways Master Plan update. Greenways include paved and unpaved trails that can be used by people walking, biking, or on horseback, and blueways (recreational waterways) and launch sites where people can access blueways. Please take a moment to learn about Hillsborough greenways, where they exist, which greenways are underway, and those that are planned.

 
This virtual engagement opened to visitors on July 13, 2022, and survey questions were available for input through select phases of the project. The insight gained from your answers helped to develop a comprehensive draft greenways plan. To preview and provide comments on the draft plan, visit the Draft Plan tab.

Welcome! In Spring 2022, the Board of County Commissioners initiated an update to the Hillsborough Greenways Master Plan. During the plan’s update, which includes resident feedback, a wide range of greenways will be considered, including natural corridors, natural surface trails, paved trails, and blueways (a water path or trail.)
