Hardin @ raleighnc.gov .

I like how many things are close by. I wish things were a little more walkable from my neighborhood to local shopping centers. The BRT line will help with this.

MGetting sidewalks and protected bike lanes for cyclists and pedestrians! It is so unsafe to walk on new Bern and I have almost got hit so many times. It is a busy thoroughfare and we NEED safe sidewalks and to encourage other modes of transportation.

Everette WinslowSpeed along New Bern and E. Edenton Needs better controls. Aesthetic changes along the corridor to be more befitting to the intended charm of the area. More of a "welcome to downtown" corridor with focus on pedestrian/bike/scooter/non-car paths that connect neighborhoods. Also, a light-rail transit system would be beneficial. NOT an inner-city highway with vehicles traveling 60+MPH.
Reply8 Agree3 years ago
J LiebelLight rail transit is a great idea. Buses aren't always efficient. And to be honest, why DON'T we have light rail?

Revitalization of businesses between the DMV and Raleigh Blvd. A grocery store since the neighborhood is a bit of a food desert.
