Clark County is working to ensure a safe and resilient future for everyone in our community.

Southern Nevada faces numerous climate hazards. We’ve experienced our hottest summer ever and recently broke the record for the most days above 100 degrees in a year. In addition to extreme heat, wildfires reduce air quality, and flash flooding and extreme wind events have damaged infrastructure, putting the health and safety of residents at risk. Clark County’s Department of Environment and Sustainability (DES) is conducting this survey to understand the needs of residents who live in rural and outlying parts of the County. 

Your responses will help us to:   

• Understand how to better support community members.  

• Identify resources that could help residents.
