Why a roundabout?

  • It makes crashes less severe by preventing dangerous side-impact (T-bone) collisions.

  • You won’t have to wait for a gap in U.S. 59 traffic, making travel easier and safer.

  • The roundabout is designed for big vehicles like semis and farm equipment so everyone can get through smoothly.

During construction, the intersection will close for approximately 60 days and traffic will be detoured.
