Who is your Alexandria Champion? Help us celebrate Public Service Recognition Week!

From the first responders who keep us safe to the teams maintaining our parks and the staff ensuring our city services run smoothly—public servants are the heartbeat of Alexandria.

In honor of Public Service Recognition Week (May 4–10), the City of Alexandria is celebrating this year’s theme: "Honoring Every Day Champions: Stories of Support, Service, and Hope."

We want to hear from you! Do you have a story about a City employee who went above and beyond? A quick "thank you" to a specific department that makes your life easier?

How to participate:

• Submit a Video: Record a short clip (15–30 seconds) on your phone and send to us through Instagram or Facebook messages or post to your own page and tag us! Vertical only please, no horizontal videos will be shared.
• Send a Note: Write a brief message of appreciation.

Deadline: Please submit your videos and comments by Monday, April 20.
