Phase 2 of the Charlotte Future 2040 Community Area Planning process is complete!  

 
Thank you to the 500+ stakeholders who attended the Phase 2 Workshops which began in April and concluded in December 2023.
 
Phase 2 focused on ensuring future development addresses each community’s needs in terms of better access to housing, jobs, goods and reduced environmental impacts. The outcome of Phase 2 is a Revised Charlotte Future 2040 Policy Map.
 

Also available online is the first edition of the Charlotte Future 2040 Policy Map Manual; it provides instructions for how to use and update the Policy Map.
