Annual Street Resurfacing with Bicycle Markings
Annual Street Resurfacing with Bicycle Markings
The City of Raleigh resurfaces City streets with poor pavement condition on an annual basis. In addition to improving the pavement condition, resurfacing projects improve sidewalk ramps, crosswalks, and curbs. They also provide the City of Raleigh the opportunity to update street configurations to match the Comprehensive Plan (adopted by City Council in October 2009) and the Bicycle Plan (adopted by City Council in May 2016).
To implement the recommendations of the City’s plans, 16 streets on the preliminary 2018 resurfacing list are candidates for bicycle markings, which may impact the availability of on-street parking. Please provide your input by completing this online survey. You can comment on as many or as few of the streets as you'd like. Specifically, we'd like to know:
- What do you think of the street's existing configuration?
- What changes would you recommend to the existing configuration, if any?
