The project logo Food and Nutrition Survey

In May 2020, the City of Asheville Parks and Recreation Department was awarded a food and nutrition grant by the National Recreation and Parks Association, funded by the Walmart Foundation. The focus of the grant is to support improved access to healthy foods and reduce food insecurity.

Responses to this survey will help guide Asheville Parks and Recreation in supporting existing food working groups, creating additional food connections and developing nutrition programming.

It will take you approximately 5-10 minutes to complete the survey. The survey will close on April 12, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
