Care More Crossing Beach Boulevard

The area along Beach Boulevard from Southside Boulevard to I-295 is a hotspot for pedestrian crashes. Between 2012 and 2016, 66 people walking or riding bikes were killed or injured by motorists in that section of Beach Boulevard. Most of the pedestrian crashes were caused by people not using crosswalks or following the crossing signals.  Care More Crossing Beach Boulevard is a safety campaign that reminds pedestrians how to cross safely.  Drivers also need to remember to stop and allow pedestrians to cross before turning.  Please take our brief survey below to share your thoughts on this important issue.
