Project: Meridian from Ford (77th St. North) to Seward (69th St. North) in Valley Center
Scope: Reconstruct and pave Meridian from 69th Street to the RR Tracks, just North of Ford Street. Project has a 10' sidewalk, which connects as part of the City’s bicycle and pedestrian plan. Includes storm sewer inlet adjustments as necessary with spot curb and gutter replacement in areas that have settled. Existing lane configuration will be maintained.
Total Cost: $3.8 million
WAMPO Funding Request: $2.8 million
Project Background: This stretch of Meridian has suffered from degrading surface condition due to age and exposure to the elements.
