Residency Determination System

Under North Carolina law, state residents are entitled to reduced, in-state tuition for higher education, including community college tuition. In March 2017, the state implemented a new residency determination process, moving from residency determination via paper applications submitted to individual community colleges to a centralized, online system powered by CFNC.
