Residency Determination System
Residency Determination System
Under North Carolina law, state residents are entitled to reduced, in-state tuition for higher education, including community college tuition. In March 2017, the state implemented a new residency determination process, moving from residency determination via paper applications submitted to individual community colleges to a centralized, online system powered by CFNC.
EducationNC is studying the impact the new process has had on community college enrollment and would like your thoughts. Please make sure to click submit at the bottom when you have answered all of the questions you wish to answer!
