Unity Park and Community Character Code

Unity Park and Community Character Code

In 2016, the City of Greenville initiated the Reedy River Redevelopment and Park Planning process, which led to the creation of the Unity Park Plan. As part of this process, a new zoning code, called the Community Character Code, was drafted to guide redevelopment around the new park. The Community Character Code incorporates form-based requirements and is intended to encourage redevelopment that preserves the unique character of this area of the city.
