Nov. 13, 2023: Drowsy Willow RFQ Public Evaluation Period Closed
The AHFC Executive Team will review the RFQ Evaluation Panel Scores and the responses received during the Public Evaluation Period, and will recommend a preferred development partner to the AHFC Board of Directors for consideration of the award of the development opportunity. Staff anticipates that the AHFC Board will select and award the development opportunity at the November 30, 2023 AHFC Board of Directors meeting.  

Oct. 11, 2023: Drowsy Willow RFQ Public Evaluation Period Open
A total of 4 responses to the Drowsy Willow RFQ were received. The Evaluation Panel identified the following top two scoring applicants to proceed with interviews:

  • Citrine Development + Summertree Development 
  • Industry ATX

The Public Evaluation period was open from October 11 to November 10, 2023.

Sept. 11, 2023: New Website for 5900 S. Pleasant Valley Road
The development team published a new website for 5900 S. Pleasant Valley Road. Visit https://www.5900spleasantvalleyroad.com/ to learn more about the development team, project milestones, and ways to get involved.

Aug. 25, 2023: RFQ Released for 5901 Drowsy Willow Trail
On August 25, 2023, AHFC released the solicitation to identify a preferred developer to partner with AHFC to develop approximately 40 to 50 units using AHFC’s community land trust (CLT) model at 5901 Drowsy Willow Trail, the vacant lot at the southwest corner of Nuckols Crossing Road and Village Square Drive.

Who is AHFC? 

The Austin Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) is a quasi-public non-profit entity created by the Austin City Council in 1979 whose mission is to generate and implement strategic housing solutions for the benefit of low-and moderate-income residents of the City.
