The Transit Committee functions as an advisory board to the Multimodal Transportation Commission and to City staff on matters affecting the transit system and its operation. The Transit Committee consists of at least seven members and up to eleven members. All are appointed by the Multimodal Transportation Commission. The terms of office are three years.
The Asheville Transit Committee meets the third Tuesday of every month from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The next meeting of the Transit Committee is scheduled for November 17, 2020 @ 3:30pm. While we are Staying Home and Staying Safe, the City of Asheville wants you to still have the opportunity to participate.

All comments will be limited to 3 minutes per person per item. Comments will be provided to the Transit Committee and will not be read at the meeting but will be posted on this page. Additionally, all comments must conform to the City boards & commission's rules of decorum. Those comments that do not may be excluded.
Comments can also be submitted by emailing [email protected]. The Transit Committee will receive the emailed comments electronically and the comments will be posted on this page, but they will not be read during the commission meeting.
