Subcommittee ng Renters' Solutions ng Housing Commission
Noong Enero 26, 2022, binuo ng Housing Commission ang bagong pinangalanang Renters' Solutions Subcommittee (RSS) . Ang subcommittee ay binubuo ng siyam na miyembro: dalawang Housing Commissioner, apat na nangungupahan, at tatlong may-ari ng ari-arian o mga tagapamahala ng ari-arian. Ang Komisyon sa Pabahay ay bumoto na ang mga Komisyoner na sina Johnson at Davila ay maglingkod bilang mga kinatawan ng Komisyoner sa RSS. Ang buong listahan ng mga inirerekomendang hinirang ay ibinoto sa kanilang mga posisyon noong ika-25 ng Mayo, 2022.
Ang singil ng subcommittee na ito ay ang mga sumusunod: Payuhan ang Housing Commission sa mga isyu na may kaugnayan sa renter kabilang ang, ngunit hindi limitado sa: Emergency na tulong sa pag-upa; karapatan ng mga nangungupahan at tulong na legal; edukasyon, outreach, at pagsasanay; at mga bagay na pambatasan.
Ang mga layunin ng subcommittee na ito ay ang mga sumusunod: (1) gumawa ng mga rekomendasyon sa Housing Commission sa mga isyu na may kaugnayan sa renter, (2) tiyakin na ang mga nangungupahan ay may boses sa mga isyu na nauugnay sa renter na bahagi ng mga pag-uusap ng Commission, (3) hikayatin ang pagbuo ng mga relasyon at pagkakaunawaan sa pagitan ng mga tagapamahala ng ari-arian at mga nangungupahan.
