Cypress Village Blvd. Survey
Cypress Village Blvd. Survey
Hillsborough County is seeking public input regarding recent changes to the traffic patterns along Cypress Village Boulevard related to golf cart, bicycle safety, and pedestrian traffic. The survey results will be combined with feedback from a public engagement meeting for future project evaluation and development. The survey will open for responses on Tuesday, August 16.
Thank you for participating in the virtual survey regarding the Cypress Village Boulevard Mobility Improvements. We appreciate your feedback and value your input.
As previously mentioned, this survey was "Phase One" in a "Two-phase-process" for project evaluation and future development.
• Phase I - Virtual Survey: Completed on Sept. 16, 2022.
• Phase II - Community Meeting: In-person community meeting will be hosted in early 2023. Event details will become available closer to the meeting date.
In the meantime, our engineers have reviewed the survey results and comments. Based on the feedback received, additional improvements will be implemented at the existing corridor. These improvements will include the installation of:
1. ADA curb ramps with detectable warning surface
2. Regulatory and warning signs
3. New pavement markings
4. High-emphasis crosswalks
5. Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons
6. Replacement of broken sidewalk
Thank you for your patience as we continue project evaluation and mobility improvements in your community.
