Grand Rapids, MI Survey
The City of Grand Rapids is currently piloting shared micromobility services in a 12-square mile area of the city. This pilot launched on September 30, 2020 with Spin e-scooters, and was expanded on June 4, 2021 with more e-scooters and the introduction of electric assist bikes from Lime. The pilot is scheduled to go through at least late 2021.
The purpose of this pilot is to measure community interest in shared bicycles and e-scooters, to understand how these can improve people's mobility and work with other modes of transportation, and to learn how to best manage these types of services.
