Why are we hosting an in-person public meeting and virtual open house?

 

To ensure the proposed project is viable and successful, we are asking all those interested to attend and participate in this public meeting. The purpose of the public meeting is to discuss the project and proposed improvements with the community, answer questions, and gather community input before making final decisions.

In-Person Public Open House Meeting

When:        March 21, 2024 from 6:00-8:00PM

                   Formal presentation at 6:30 PM

Where:       University of Northwestern Ohio, Racers Station

       1365 N Cable Road

       Lima, OH 45805

Individuals who require reasonable accommodation to participate in this meeting should contact David Louth by March 1, 2024. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, sex, age, national origin, or disability.

30-day Virtual Public Open House

When:          March 21 through April 21, 2024

During this time, we invite you to visit the website, review the materials, then submit your questions and comments. All materials presented during the in-person public meeting will be available at the virtual public open house.

ODOT has assumed the Federal Highway Administration’s responsibilities under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding signed December 14, 2020, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
