These are a few important considerations that we are factoring into our analysis of a trail alignment and features: 

  • Directness of route: direct route minimizing turns, could utilize major roads
  • Low vehicular traffic: could be indirect, but utilizes minor roads
  • Access to parks, stores, or other destinations: direct access, could utilize a variety of roadways
  • Access to public transit: bus stops
  • Trail width: to accomodate high non-motorized traffic
