The federal government has provided unprecedented funding for infrastructure improvements. New York State has also made a significant commitment to support local projects. GTC has developed this portal for transportation funding opportunities with the intent of pointing our member agencies and other stakeholders to funding opportunities to pursue desired local projects.
Below we have compiled funding opportunities by the type of project being pursued. For each project type, the relevant Funding Program is listed. For each Funding Program, we have provided key information to determine if it might be suitable for a particular project. Users can then follow links to more information before committing significant resources on an application for funding.
GTC staff will monitor guidance as it is released and update the portal, accordingly, so please check back often. We will provide whatever support we can to our regional partners to maximize the region’s benefits from funding opportunities.
We encourage you to subscribe to the email list to receive timely updates. If you would like to discuss your specific projects to see if they would be a good fit for the various funding programs, please send a message to [email protected] so your request can be directed to the most appropriate staff person. We are happy to strategize and offer technical assistance to help you pursue various funding opportunities.
