AFC Survey
AFC Survey
Grey County is developing an Age-Friendly Community Strategy and Action Plan. The project will build on recent policy and research initiatives undertaken by the County (i.e. Grey County Official Plan, Age-Friendly study by University of Guelph students, Grey Bruce Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, etc.), to design a roadmap guiding the corporation and informing the work of local municipalities and other community partners to help ensure the decisions and actions reflect and respond to the needs of everyone; including youth, working-age, older adults, and people with disabilities. AFC planning aims to create a more inclusive environment for all individuals. At the end, there will be a list of action items to be implemented through the County Official Plan, active and public transportation networks, community support services, and physical infrastructure.
This project is primarily funded through the Government of Ontario, Inclusive Community Grant.
Thank you for your interest in developing a more Age-Friendly Grey County! This survey will cover a wide variety of topics related to many aspects of daily life. The survey is divided into five sections, and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete in its entirety. All questions are optional, and you can start and stop the survey any time - the system will save all of your previous responses for you. When answering questions, please consider pre-pandemic conditions wherever possible (ie when discussing community events).
This introductory section is used to collect information about who completed the survey - all responses will be kept strictly confidential and are only used to sort responses.
