Menlo Park fills two key management positions

The City of Menlo Park is pleased to announce two recent hires to the city’s management team. Tanisha Werner joins as the assistant public works director overseeing engineering and TJ Moffett will serve as a commander in the Police Department. To assist Menlo Park’s public works efforts, the city is excited to have Tanisha Werner join the leadership team. Ms. Werner with has over 16 years of experience in civil engineering. Off the Grid to kick off new food truck season April 6

Menlo Park’s Off the Grid weekly food truck market returns to the Caltrain parking lot, Wednesday, April 6. Food trucks will offer a variety of American, Mexican, Asian Fusion and many more! The market is open every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to approximately 9 p.m., on the part of the Caltrain station parking next to Ravenswood Avenue. San Mateo County opens new funding for micro- and microfood businesses

The San Mateo County board of supervisors recently approved a new round of grants to help microbusiness and microfood businesses. Applications are due by Monday, April 11, 2022. The Microfood Business Grant program will provide grants of $2,500, $5,000 or $10,000 to each selected business, depending on the type of business. City to implement new automated appointment system

Menlo Park will soon implement a new automated queuing system to reduce wait times for visitors to city hall for the building, planning, public works, finance, and city clerk offices. Coming soon, this new customer engagement system aims to increase transparency by providing updates via text messaging and on-screen monitoring in the city hall lobby. Currently, appointments are required while visiting city hall.
