New community engagement sessions have been added with West Trade wall mural artist Dyair. The mural, titled "Heritage of Biddleville," will chronicle the history, culture and academic legacy of Charlotte's Historic West End Community.

The Comprehensive Neighborhood Improvement Program (CNIP) makes strategic investments in larger, multi-neighborhood geographies to more comprehensively address a broad array of community needs, consistent with the goals of the City's Capital Investment Plan. There are currently six CNIP areas: Central/Albemarle/Shamrock, Prosperity Village in, Sunset/Beatties Ford, West Trade/Rozzelles Ferry, Whitehall/Ayrsley and SouthPark. The Capital Investment Plan (CIP) is a long-range program designed to meet the current and future needs of our growing community.
