Traffic signal upgrades at Ravenswood Avenue and Laurel Street on July 30
Menlo Park will be upgrading the traffic signal at the intersection of Ravenswood Avenue and Laurel Street on Saturday, July 30. The traffic signals will not be operational from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the intersection will operate as a four-way stop, with the bike lane closed. This upcoming traffic signal upgrade could cause traffic delays. Detouring around the work is encouraged. City Council candidate filing period now open
Have you ever considered running for City Council? If so, now is the time! During the upcoming November 8, 2022, election, voters in City Council Districts, 1, 2, and 4 will choose their representative. Individuals who wish to run for one of the three seats must be 18 years of age, a registered voter and live in the district in which they are running. Menlo Park releases flood-related hazard mitigation progress report
Menlo Park has been recognized for performing floodplain management activities above and beyond the minimum requirements for the National Flood Insurance program. These activities and the City’s participation in the Community Rating System program allow the city to earn discounted flood insurance rates for our community.
