We are committed to keeping you informed as progress is made on the CityLYNX Gold Line Phase 2 Project. This includes information we receive from the contractor, which, due to the nature of construction, changes frequently.
The second of three concrete deck pours on the Hawthorne Lane bridge will take place Monday, May 18. Crews will be onsite by 2 a.m. Monday morning in order to prepare for the pour, which will start between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. The third and final concrete deck pour could take place on Thursday, May 21; however, we will notify you once it is scheduled.
Expect heavy machinery noise (i.e. engines, concrete trucks backing up, concrete pumping trucks) and light towers illuminating the site.
More concrete pours -- for the bridge sides, medians and sidewalks -- will take place in the coming weeks. We will notify you once those are scheduled.
