How Many Deaths is Acceptable on Our Roadways? Take the Destination Zero Survey Today!
Destination Zero is the effort that will put us on the path towards reducing and eventually eliminating all traffic-related deaths and serious injuries from our roadways. The goal is to develop a plan to reduce fatalities and serious injuries in the Sarasota/Manatee region to align with FDOT’s Driving Down Fatalities initiative and vision.
The Destination Zero Survey is now open! Help end traffic-related deaths and serious injuries in Sarasota/Manatee by taking this short survey. Results from this survey will help stakeholders understand public opinion and concern for safety on the roadways as well as direct future implementation strategies. Performance Measures Dashboard
To make the performance measures more accessible to the public, the Performance Measures Dashboard was remodeled. Each performance measure has its own page with the most relevant data points illustrated in an approachable way. These pages are introduced with a quick infographic. The content of these graphics, long range objectives and select data, is intended to be consumed in a minute or less. The pages also include charts, scorecards, and interactive maps using GIS WebApps, which allows for data exploration in the region.
