Join us for the Middle Avenue Complete Street project community meeting

The Middle Avenue Complete Street project proposes bicycle and pedestrian improvements along the entire length of Middle Avenue between El Camino Real and Olive Street. The project will provide solutions that enhance safety of all users, especially pedestrians and bicyclists, reduce vehicle speed and improve connectivity to schools, parks, grocery stores, downtown and residential neighborhoods. Learn how to submit district maps to the Independent Redistricting Commission

Menlo Park is redistricting and the Independent Redistricting Commission is calling for feedback and map submissions from the Menlo Park community. Caltrain signal work, day and night this week

Between Feb. 26 and March 4, Caltrain will be working during the day to perform signal work and prune and remove trees along the project route. Caltrain will also work during the night to perform additional signal work. Day work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and night work hours will be from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Caltrain crews apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and pledges that the field team will work as quietly as possible. New supplemental paid sick leave extends COVID-19 benefit protections

Passed Feb. 8, 2022, in response to the continued COVID-19 pandemic, Supplemental Paid Sick Leave (SB 114) went into effect Feb. 19, 2022. The bill approves eligible employees to receive up to 80 hours of COVID-19 related paid leave, with up to 40 of those hours for isolation and quarantine, receiving vaccines, and caring for a child whose school or place of care is closed and up to an additional 40 of those hours available only when an employee, or family member for whom the employee provides care, tests positive for COVID-19. Consumers can help safeguard their information from credit/debit card thieves who place skimming devices inside gasoline pumps at service stations and bank ATM’s throughout our County and State.
