Service Changes for Thanksgiving Holiday

Thanksgiving - All Town facilities and offices will be closed Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th.

  • Trash and recycling will run on normal schedule Monday through Wednesday. Collection will be delayed by one day for Thursday and Friday routes. Friday customers will be collected on Saturday.
  • Yard waste crews will service as many homes as possible Monday through Wednesday, collecting for ALL routes. Items not collected during the week of November 25th will be collected the following week.

Brown Bags to Building Bridges (B^4) Lunch Series - December Session

Join the Water Resources Department (Stormwater division) for lunch and to learn how their work plays a vital role in protecting our surface waters throughout town. This is your chance to engage directly with department staff, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the operations that support everyday life in Apex.

Tingen Road Pedestrian and Bike Crossing
November 17th | Drop in between 4 - 6 pm
Apex Senior Center, Salem Room (63 Hunter Street)

You're invited to learn more about the proposed design for the Tingen Road pedestrian and bike crossing!  

The meeting will also gather feedback on proposed changes to the South Salem Street and Tingen Road/Justice Heights Street intersection to improve pedestrian access to the street and to the crossing, which is currently proposed as an underground tunnel.
