Project Updates
SEAP+ Advisory Committee Application Remains Open
Applications are still open – consider this great opportunity to get involved with the SEAP+ Advisory Committee, or SEA-AC+.
The SEA-AC+ will hold quarterly meetings and each member will participate in a subgroup focused on one of these areas. If you have expertise or a strong interest in civic advocacy, sustainability or environmental issues, this could be the perfect fit for you.
What is the SEAP + Advisory Committee (SEA-AC+)
The SEA-AC+ (see - act) is the Strategic Energy Action Plan Plus (SEAP+) Advisory Committee, composed of volunteers representing environmental, residential, business and other interests that correspond to the SEAP+ focus areas: Building, Energy Generation, Transportation and Cross Sectional.
Purpose
The purpose of the SEA-AC+ is to provide community-informed guidance and support in the implementation and advancement of the SEAP+ with specific focus on the communitywide goals. This committee will serve as a collaborative forum for residents, stakeholders and subject matter experts to share insights, identify opportunities and inspire actions that the community can take to achieve its goals through the different focus areas — Building, Energy Generation, Transportation and Cross Sectional. While there may be opportunities to provide input on city-specific initiatives, the main focus of this committee will be to determine and share ways to facilitate SEAP+ in the community.
