During the event, the community-driven Strategic Housing Plan was unveiled, updates were shared on current housing initiatives, and "Faces of Housing in Hendersonville" premiered, a powerful video featuring local residents sharing why housing matters and how it impacts the future of our city.

Summer Safety Biking Reminders

With more people enjoying the Ecusta Trail and Oklawaha Greenway, it's a great time to brush up on a few simple safety reminders. Whether you're riding for exercise, commuting, or just out for a family adventure, always wear a helmet, stay alert, and keep your eyes up, and not on your phone. When using shared paved trails, ride at a safe speed, stay to the right, and let others know you're passing with a friendly "On your left!" Be especially mindful of pedestrians, children, and pets, and remember that a little courtesy goes a long way in helping everyone enjoy the trail safely.
