This office will provide support in areas such as housing, health care, education, employment, benefits and social enrichment—ensuring that service members, veterans and their families have convenient access to the assistance they deserve.
A dedicated Veteran Service Officer will be available for walk-in services Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The office will be closed each day from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch. Town Employee Heather Maloney Honored in Davidson College Athletics Hall of Fame
Davidson College inducted its 32nd class into the Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, January 10 and among the honorees is one of our own — Heather Maloney, a dedicated Town of Huntersville employee and former standout Division I athlete.
Maloney, a 2003 Davidson graduate, made her mark on the Wildcats’ women’s soccer program as one of its all-time greats. A two-time All-Southern Conference selection, she finished her collegiate career ranked second in program history with 95 total points. Her 36 goals and 23 assists place her third all-time at Davidson. In 2000, Maloney delivered a record-breaking season, setting single-season marks for goals (19), assists (10), and total points (48). Her exceptional performance earned her all-tournament honors and recognition as a CoSIDA All-District selection.
