The Lincoln Completes Marquee Improvements
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The Lincoln has completed improvements to its three marquee signs with support from a Capital Improvement Grant through the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority.
The project included new marquee faces, updated LED lighting, and new lettering across all three signs. The improvements refresh a familiar feature of the historic theater while maintaining its established character along downtown Cheyenne's streetscape.

Strategic Transition Update
|
|
|
|
The Cheyenne DDA’s transition to the City of Cheyenne’s Community Recreation & Events (CRE) Department has been approved by both the City Finance Committee and City Council.
The transition is now complete, strengthening the DDA’s ability to implement projects and initiatives outlined in the 2024 Plan of Development. DDA staff are now located in Room 302, the Community Recreation & Events office, on the third floor of the Municipal Building, as the organization settles into its new structure.

The next Cheyenne DDA Board meeting will be held on September 17th at 10 a.m. at 1920 Thomes (Western Vista conference room) with an option to attend virtually via Zoom.
