Meter System Upgrade - Phase 2

During Phase 1 of the Meter System Upgrade (MSU) project, about 25% of the town's aging water meters were replaced, and all water meter endpoints were replaced. Work wraps up on phase 1 in the next few weeks.

In October, work will begin on phase 2 of the MSU project, which includes the replacement of electric meters for nearly every customer. This phase will be more noticeable, since it will cause a brief power loss (typically less than one minute) while the meter is being replaced.
