Acterra is looking for electrified homes for the Electric Home Tour 2024! Scheduled for Oct. 19, this all-day event is a great opportunity to showcase your electric home installations to your neighbors. Acterra's Electric Home Tour will feature both fully and partially electrified homes, offering valuable insights into the benefits of switching from gas to electric appliances. Currently, Acterra is seeking enthusiastic homeowners who have implemented electrification measures and are willing to share their experiences with the community. Upcoming re-roofing project at City Hall

City Hall

Public Works will soon begin a re-roofing project at City Hall. Construction is anticipated to start on Sept. 16 and will take approximately five weeks to complete. The scope of work includes removing and replacing asphalt shingles over the entire building in preparation for solar panel upgrades next year. The project is scheduled from Monday through Friday (between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and City Hall will remain open and accessible to the public during this time... Click to continue

Coastal Cleanup Day is Sept. 21! Volunteer today to join your community and make a positive impact by helping keep the ocean and the Bay clean. Vision Zero Action Plan featured in national safe system guide for transportation

The City is proud to have been selected as one of six study cases for a recently published national research report conducted by AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, Johns Hopkins University, the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the University of North Carolina. Join the Caltrain electrified train launch Sept. 21 and 22.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, Caltrain will roll out fully electrified mainline services. To accompany this rollout, Caltrain has released a new set of schedules. The fully electrified services will reduce travel time and increase service frequency compared to the diesel fleet.
