We are excited to announce that construction on the ARPT-C1A segment of Airport Blvd. will begin on Monday, September 23. This work is part of our ongoing commitment to improving safety and enhancing pedestrian access along the corridor.

Construction Details:

  • Location: Along the west side of Airport Blvd., from 45th St. to Middle Fiskville Rd.
  • Phase 1: Starting September 23, the contractor will install shared-use paths and make intersection safety upgrades along the west side of Airport Blvd., beginning at Middle Fiskville Rd. and working southward.
  • Phase 2: The contractor will install a pedestrian signal at the intersection of Airport Blvd. and Middle Fiskville Rd. We will share the schedule for this work as soon as it is finalized.

The primary focus of this project is to create a safer, more pedestrian-friendly environment for all who use Airport Blvd. — whether walking, rolling, or driving. We are committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of everyone along this corridor.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to make these improvements, and please stay tuned for additional updates as construction progresses.
