Progress Continues to Bring West Asheville a New Pool
We are excited to share that the Malvern Hills Park improvements project has officially reached the 60% design milestone. With an updated cost estimate, we remain on track to open for the 2028 summer season while staying within budget.
What's Next for the Project?
The design team will complete construction drawings and obtain required permits. Once finalized, the project construction contract will be presented to the City Council for formal authorization. Construction is estimated to kick off in late 2026.
