Catalytic converter etching program
Menlo Park and cities nationwide have seen a rise in the theft of catalytic converters from vehicle exhaust systems. Etching your catalytic converter with a serial number can help combat catalytic converter thefts by dissuading thieves from stealing it. It will also aid the police in returning your catalytic converter to you if it is recovered after being stolen. Weekend Caltrain service suspension April 20 – 21
Caltrain is progressing towards its September 2024 introduction of modern electric trains that will replace 40-year old diesel trainsets. As part of phasing in the 23 new train sets, the trains will need to be tested for 1,000 miles as part of their burn-in process. Upcoming Water Main Replacement Project for Continental Drive
The Water Main Replacement Project is a continuous project in the City of Menlo Park that involves changing old pipelines that are nearing the end of their useful life. By replacing old water mains, the City aims to improve water quality and maintain a safe water system for the community. The Continental Drive Water Main Replacement Project will replace approximately 2,170 linear feet of 12-inch asbestos cement (AC) pipe on Continental Drive between Monte Rosa Drive and Tioga Drive. Solid waste and water discount program extended through June 30
The Menlo Park City Council extended the rate assistance program that assists those suffering financial hardship. The extended program runs through June 30. Qualified households may receive a 20% monthly discount on solid waste service from Recology San Mateo County and a fixed monthly discount equivalent to 50% of the 5/8-inch meter service charge on water service from Menlo Park Municipal Water...
