It has been a great month! We recently hosted our very first Last 2sday event, as well as the grand reopening of our Rittiman field office. I want to extend my sincerest thanks to all of our vendors and the wonderful District 2 community for making this momentous occasion possible.

We invite you to join us for the rescheduled District 2 budget town hall. Due to power outage concerns last week, we were forced to reschedule for September 5th at 6:30 p.m. at Copernicus Community Center (5003 Lord Rd). At this event, city staff will share details on the proposed budget for FY2024. We welcome your feedback on what you would like to see included in the budget. If you're interested, city departments will review the budget in detail at City Council budget work sessions. You can preview the presentation on the city's webpage.

Our print newsletters are a vital component of our engagement with you. They are a great way to stay up-to-date, as well as to learn more about our office and upcoming events. We hope you will subscribe to our newsletter and receive a copy in your mailbox each month. To subscribe, please send us your full name and address. We look forward to hearing from you!

As always it is an honor and a privilege to serve you.

Councilman Jalen McKee-Rodriguez Digital Signature

Our office will be closed on Monday, September 4th in observance of Labor Day. Public safety and emergency services will remain in operation.
