Beaver Creek Greenway is Still Under Construction

The new section of Beaver Creek Greenway from Kelly Road Park to the Nature Park may look complete, but it is still under construction! Please avoid using this section until it officially opens to the public.

We anticipate crossing the finish line in the near future, but there are a few items left to complete, including handrails along the raised boardwalk sections. With nearly 50% of the project is federally funded, agencies other than Town of Apex will also need to inspect the greenway and sign off on completion.

Stay tuned to this page for an opening date...

Rainbow Bridge - A place to honor your pet

Introducing the Rainbow Bridge at Beaver Creek Greenway, a dedicated place in Apex to honor and remember our beloved four-legged friends 🌈 🐾

Located on the greenway just beyond the Beaver Creek Target (near the Beckett Crossing neighborhood), visitors are invited to bring your pet’s collar and attach it to the bridge rails as a lasting tribute.

This partnership between UNC Health and Duke Health, will occupy over 200 acres and provide a 500-bed children's hospital, a children's outpatient care center, more than 100 children and adolescent behavioral health beds, and a research and education enterprise backed by the UNC and Duke schools of medicine.

Watch along as Town Manager, Randy Vosburg, provides details on this exciting project!
