The Committee will continue to meet in order to finalize the proposed amendments for City Council consideration.

Planning Commission New Commission Members update
Candidates to fill vacant positions on the City’s Planning Commission were interviewed by the City Council Governance Committee on Jan. 25. A total of five seats are open on the Planning Commission. Four existing members, Matthew Proffitt (Chair), George Peck (Pro Tem), Meredith Seigel, and Samer Dessouky, of the Planning Commission reapplied for their seats to serve another term.

Next steps include a formal appointment by City Council at a date to be determined for the five positions.
