Tree Removal Scheduled at Holbrook Park

Sometime over the next two weeks, a contractor will remove five trees from Holbrook Park, specifically along the front of the park near the shelter. The decision to remove these trees is based on safety concerns, as they are either dying or leaning towards the road, power lines and parking area.

The removal of these trees is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of park visitors and the surrounding infrastructure. It is important to note that this action is unrelated to the original plan of expanding the parking lot at the park, as this project has currently been put on hold.

Like any rezoning request, this will be required to go through our standard rezoning process.
