January Drive Flood Risk Reduction Project Update
November 2025
The new storm drain system for the January Drive Flood Risk Reduction project was installed at the end of last month and is now operational. Crews have since been working to abandon the old existing water lines that are no longer needed, which will be completed this week.
Repaving Begins Next Week
On Monday, November 10, the paving process will begin. This will involve removing two inches of existing asphalt followed by paving two inches of new asphalt. The work will start on February Drive, proceed along January Drive, and then conclude at March Drive and April Drive. In total, the paving process is expected to be completed in approximately 10 days.
We kindly ask that community members do not park along January Drive beginning November 11 to allow the paving process to proceed as quickly as possible. Temporary no parking signage will be posted accordingly. Any residents needing access to the street while paving is underway can speak to the onsite inspector for assistance. Paving will be done in phases so as to minimize impacts and allow access to the newly paved road at the end of each day.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure the project area is fully paved before the holiday.
