Dick Nichols and Beckett Meadows
Pond Rehabilitation Construction Update
June 2025

Construction continues at the Dick Nichols and Beckett Meadows Pond Rehabilitation site. Late last month, the project team became aware of some netting that was causing harm to local wildlife and promptly removed it from the site. Protecting both water quality and wildlife remains the team's top priority.
This month, crews are working to restore vegetation and wildlife in the project area as we enter the final stages of construction. Substantial completion remains on track for late summer 2025. There is still no public access to either pond at this time.
