Visit San Antonio and Culinaria have partnered with the world-renowned James Beard Foundation to bring The Collective of Tasting Texas, Wine + Food Festival to life in the heart of beautiful downtown San Antonio. The Collective: A modern take on The Grand Tasting at Travis Park! As the center of the Tasting Texas Wind + Food Festival, guests will be immersed in some of the biggest names in food and beverage as they snack, learn, shop, dance, and lounge the day away in this market-style experience.

Main Plaza Conservancy will host a celebration in honor of Dia De Los Muertos. This festival will include roving live music from Azul Mariachi de San Antonio, food trucks, FREE face painting, AM Project DJ, a FREE salsa lesson, as well as showings of San Antonio | The Saga projected onto San Fernando Cathedral. In addition, FREE kids crafts, Design Your Own Sugar Skull, will be available. The event will begin at 4 PM with a roving mariachi performance followed by an evening of family-friendly and cost-free entertainment! Join us at the San Antonio River Walk for the SpiritLandia (Day of the Dead) River Parade on Thursday, October 27. See elaborately decorated floats with altars, catrinas, and costumed riders all celebrating life and loved ones. The parade will be recorded and created into a streaming special, available on Peacock on November 1 for Day of the Dead. The festivities continue Friday through Sunday at La Villita with music, food, and free family fun honoring Day of the Dead traditions. Día de los Muertos at Market Square

Bring the family out to enjoy beautiful altars built in memory of departed loved ones and celebrate with cultural processions. The annual event will also showcase performances by live Mariachi bands and Ballet Folklorico dancers. Festivities include face painting, artisans, festive food, and authentic market shopping all weekend. Diwali San Antonio is one of the largest Indian festivals in the country, drawing thousands of people from all over Texas. The ancient Hindu festival, hosted at Hemisfair, is also known as the Festival of Lights and celebrates the triumph of good over evil. The event features live entertainment and cultural performances, food and handicrafts, DJ, dancing and a fireworks display.
