Additional safety and mobility upgrades include:

- Intersections at and just east of Brodie Lane, including the area near Bowie High School, will see improvements to signal timing and pedestrian access

ABOUT THE CORRIDOR MOBILITY PROGRAM
The Slaughter Lane improvements are part of the Corridor Construction Program and funded by the 2016 Mobility Bond.
In November 2016, Austin voters approved a mobility bond package that dedicated $482 million to Corridor Improvement Projects along nine major Austin corridors. The goal of the Corridor Mobility Program is to improve safety, mobility and connectivity for all Austinites, driving, walking, wheeling or biking.
