TAKE A SURVEY TO HELP IMPROVE HOUSING IN THE BALTIMORE METRO AREA!
BMC is conducting a survey to understand residents' experiences in finding quality, affordable housing. The survey is confidential and will help create better housing programs. It takes about 10 minutes, and you could win a $100 gift card for participating!
Participation is optional and won't affect your housing status or assistance. If you have a housing voucher and are willing to share more about your housing search, email hello@rootpolicy.com to join a virtual focus group.
Please share this survey with others in your community! Everyone who completes it can enter the gift card drawing.

The next public meetings are set for:
- Monday, September 9 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (Virtual)

UPCOMING MEETING ON KEY BRIDGE REBUILD
The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) is planning to replace the Francis Scott Key Bridge with a new bridge. They have applied for permits, including a Water Quality Certification and are hosting a meeting to share updates on the permits and the project.
The new bridge will have stronger foundations and protective features in the Patapsco River. It will be built in the same location as the current bridge and will connect to the existing roadways on both sides of the river, staying within MDTA’s right-of-way.
Join the public hearing on the rebuild permit on Tuesday, September 17 at the Community College of Baltimore County (Dundalk Campus, 7200 Sollers Point Rd., Baltimore, MD 21222). There will be a poster session from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and a public hearing from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
