Streetary outdoor dining program to be considered at City Council meeting, Aug. 15

At the Aug. 15 meeting, City Council will consider elements of a permanent Streetary program and road closures on portions of Santa Cruz Avenue and Ryans Lane. Outdoor dining first started in Menlo Park in 2015 with a pilot program on Santa Cruz Avenue and expanded during the pandemic through a temporary program to help struggling restaurants. Special Housing Element Meeting, Aug. 22

Provide valuable feedback on the City’s recent Housing Element Update and learn more about the proposed zoning changes by attending the upcoming City Council meeting. Your input will be used to inform changes before final review and action by the Planning Commission and City Council in late fall/early winter. Kelly Park Closure, Aug. 22

Kelly Park will be closed on Aug. 22. Access to the park and the Belle Haven Youth Center portable buildings will be closed to ensure everyone's safety while large-scale construction activities are performed at the nearby community center.
