Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center Phase 2 Improvements Project Update

- Site retaining wall at Zocalo is 75% complete.
- Brick installation is ongoing and progressing to the north addition.
- New electrical panels energized for the building additions.
- Test cleaning of exterior precast panels.
- Installation of major mechanical equipment.
- Preparing interior exposed concrete floors for final finish.
- Framing interior soffits, doors, and windows.
- Tape and float of interior drywall.

SCHEDULED MILESTONES
- Construction began – August 28, 2023
- Anticipated completion of all major construction activity – Summer 2025
- Anticipated grand opening – Fall 2025
